Whitney did a wonderful job on the flowers for our wedding day! We chose silk flowers which all looked amazing, they had perfect mixtures of textures and colors. My bridesmaids loved that they were able to take home their bouquets and I have mine now on display since it's still in great condition. I was also able to rent a large amount of wedding decor from Whitney, including lanterns for the ceremony and the centerpieces and greenery for the tables. Whitney delivered and set up all of these items which made it so much easier and everything looked beautiful. I definitely recommend WR Designs and Decor!!

Whitney did such an amazing job with our flower arrangements as part of our Newport wedding! We are truly appreciative of all of her hard work and incredible talent. The flower arrangements, centerpieces, arbor and bouquets came out stunning! We even love how she was even able to include a few live (pet safe) flowers into the dog collar, so our pup looked adorable and stole the show as a result. The flowers are still thriving and decorating our home a week later, especially the hydrangeas which I was worried would be the first to wilt in the summer heat. My husband and I were so happy to have worked with Whitney! She totally got my ambiguous theme of “light and airy California coastal” and helped make all my visions for our ceremony, reception and bouquets come true. One of the things we loved about working with Whitney was that she works with both fresh and silk real touch florals. It was great for us to know that we could use silk flowers for things like the swags on our arbor and the greenery on our welcome sign and then focus more on our bouquets, boutonnieres and centerpieces with fresh florals. Whitney was also very accommodating with my last minute requests like adding a boutonniere for my brother and then our reception table count decreasing after we got our final guest count. Whatever I may have forgotten, or needed to update her on closer to the wedding, Whitney was very responsive and amazing to work with! I’m so happy we chose her as our florist and everything came out beautifully! Thank you so much Whitney!

Whitney was so amazing to work with. She really helped ease the wedding planning stress for us! She was so creative, helpful, responsive, and so beautifully brought everything to life. We took advantage of the rentals that Whitney had available such as faux garland, lanterns, gold votives, and stunning bud vases. We loved it all. Renting made the “after wedding stress” so much easier on us. We did mostly fresh flowers but we opted for silk flowers for our arch pieces. The silk flowers were just as beautiful as the fresh and looked so realistic. I am still in awe of how beautiful everything looked. I’ll never forget seeing my bouquet for the first time. I do highly recommend working with Whitney for weddings and big events!

WR Designs and Decor was a dream to work with, Whitney was super responsive, helpful, and knowledgeable, the rentals we used were perfect, and having the option for them to pick up everything made the post wedding crazy so easy. Plus the option to use silk, real, or a mix was perfect. We did real for bouquets and then a mix for the arbor.

Whitney St. Germain

Lead Floral Designer

My name is Whitney, I have a son, two dogs and a loving husband that support my dream job! I love owning my floral design business, and love having my dogs by my side throughout the day. I graduated with a marketing & advertising degree, after exploring majors and minors in art, advertising, and fashion design. I put in 10+ years of retail management, and a few in marketing, before I found may passion working with engaged couples designing weddings through floral art in 2015. WR Designs and Decor was born in 2017 and became a full time gig in 2019.
